Judges carry the quality bar. Chat can tip close battles. Here's the exact rubric and the rules that keep it clean.
Arrangement / Impact10
Does the 60 seconds move? Clear payoff, hook, drop, dynamic shift, or emotional turn?
Production / Sound10
Clean, powerful, stream-ready mix. Controlled vocals, drums, low end, transitions, loudness.
Creativity / Prompt Craft10
Distinct identity, taste, genre control, intentional AI direction beyond generic output.

90 judge points possible. Recommended default chat bonus is +10 (+15 for a stronger kingmaker effect).

The rulebook
Enough structure to protect the event
Entry requirements
- Submit 3–5 tracks with titles before the lock date.
- Pick a 60-second timestamp for each track.
- Provide artist display name + contact + AI tools used.
- Agree your clips can be streamed and clipped for promo.
Audio & links
- Accepted files: .wav, .mp3, .m4a, .aac, .flac, .ogg, .opus.
- Or provide a Suno and/or YouTube link.
- No severe clipping or broken files; normalize loudness where possible.
- Clean file naming: Artist_TrackTitle.wav.
Track rotation
- Rounds 1–3 must use three different songs.
- From round 4 you may reuse a previous drop.
- Finalists may play full tracks in the finale.
Time caps
- Swiss drops: exactly 60 seconds from your chosen timestamp.
- Finale tracks: full songs, 6-minute maximum.
Tiebreakers
- 1) Higher judge total.
- 2) Higher arrangement/impact score.
- 3) Faster judge consensus.
- 4) Host coin-flip only as an emergency.
Content & fair play
- Stream-safe or clearly flagged before broadcast.
- No copyrighted stems, vocals, or samples without rights.
- No impersonation-based material.
- Disclose AI tools honestly.
Disqualification
- Broken/missing files at playback time.
- Undisclosed rights violations.
- Coordinated vote brigading (chat bonus may be voided).
Appeals & discretion
- Production errors may allow a re-run at host discretion.
- The bracket master verifies scores and standings.
- Final admin discretion applies to edge cases.
This is an AI music competition, not a legal seminar — but submitting means you have the right to share the audio publicly, and that DROP-60, its judges, and stream partners are protected by these terms.
